face and hair are not covered, and the deceased remains more recognisable;
the shape of the face remains undamaged, without any folds on the skin;
the chin collar is biodegradable;
the chin collar does not release any gas in the case of cremation.
The support must be put on the deceased during the corpse preparation, before rigor mortis sets in. The deceased must lie on his/her bock, preferably with a fede pillow under the head.
Check that the smaller arch is placed under the chin. The longer arch will then tie against the breast and collarbone once the collar is on.
Grasp the larger part of the chin-collar with both hands. Pull it out sufficiently and push it in towards the deceased's neck. It is important to get the chin collar as close to the neck as possible. Use some force if necessary.
